some things are better left alone...
...like the indiana jones franchise.i mean, seriously. I just went to see it last night with chad and his roommate (40 yr old man with downs syndrome).
the evening was going famously well until the movie actually began. i kept thinking, "surely this script can't get any worse."
i was woefully mistaken. the film was of the "indy meets george of the jungle meets stargate meets scooby doo" variety.
just aweful.
awe.
ful.
the dialog made me groan out loud about fifteen times.
george lucas must have written it. it was that bad.
we asked doug (chad's roommate) if he liked it. He said "ooooh yeah."
chad told him he must have been the target audience.
then we all went home. ah well. we should have known better. look what happened to the Godfather movies when they tried to make a third.
