coffee in the afternoon
i am in a coffee shop in DC waiting for emily b to meet me here. she's pretty great. we've been playing phone tag for a while because our schedules are so different. a few minutes ago emily and i determined (on the phone) that she accidentally walked the wrong way and found herself in a less safe portion of the city. hmm. not to worry...noah was downstairs meeting with a friend and i summoned him to go rescue her. so i am still sitting here. i feel sort of bad because this guy came over to me earlier and asked me if someone was using the other chair. i told him it was being used. well. i now have made myself into a giant liar because i have been sitting here for like a half hour or so and the chair allegedly in use has yet to be occupied. hahha. i guess it happens. anyway, due to a variety of reasons, noah and i have decided to postpone the wedding date. i still am moving to DC at the end of september, and we are still getting married, just not in eleven weeks. lots of pressure with school and marriage and moving and jobs. not the optimal situation. i am not what you would call an excellent multi-tasker, and neither (for that matter) is noah. when things are a bit more settled, we'll set the new date. for now, we are breathing... and that's a start.

Glad to hear things are doing well. Sorry about the postponement, but it is always wise to wait until you can navigate through the tough parts. I love you. Take care of you and that guy.
